As part of their Mr Men topic, Class 1 produced storyboards and animations. They also created their own Mr Men characters.
Class 4 have been finding different ways of separating mixtures of minerals in Spring 2012.
Class 2 wrote about the ‘Day I Found a Rocket’ and wrote riddles and blow painted aliens in Spring 2012.

These talented pupils from Years 5 and 6 achieved their Copper Music Medal award in Clarinet. They took the exam in Dec 2011 and received the award following a performance in assembly on 3rd Jan 2012. They are now working towards the next medal which is Bronze.
Class 2 made roman mosaics and learnt about the legend of Romulus and Remus in their Romans topic.
In Autumn 2010, Class 1 looked at the stories about Elmer to help them with their work on colour.
Class 3 have been learning all about the Tudors in Autumn 2010. They made portraits of Henry V and his wives and built some Tudor houses.
Class 4 have been meeting with village residents as part of Generations Together (Capturing Worcestershire's Rural Past) - a government initiative which is providing resources for a series of intergenerational programmes. The project gives pupils a chance to formally interview older people with themes such as home life and schooling. The interviews will then be incorporated into a display in school which the community will be invited. This fits in well with Class 4's topic on the history of Worcester
Class 1 been reading the Mr Men stories and we have even designed or very own Mr Men.
Class 4 have been learning about Worcester through the Ages and about the Battles of Worcester and Powick.
In Class 2 we have been learning about different artists. Here are our recreations of some of Joseph Turner's work.
In Class 1 our Autumn collage shows all the colours of Autumn. We have also been learning about Harvest Time.
Class 4's topic is Australia and we have been looking at its very contrasting environments. We have been finding out about the history of Australia, as well as studying the traditions and heritage of the Aborigine people.

Class 2 gave us a super production of 'The Lion and the Mouse'.
Class 3 are learning about transport through the years.
Class 1 learnt about water and made this display about the sea and what lives in it.
Class 3 learnt about the Aztecs, and then had an Aztec feast.

On Class 1's French Day they learnt some French words and ate croissants. They even had their own 'Tour de France' in the playground.
After learning about Andy Warhol, Class 3 made these digitally altered images of themselves.

As part of their Greek topic, Class 3 wrote letters to Zeus explaining why (as Pandora) they opened the box. Spring 2012.
As part of their farming topic Class 2 produced some watercolours entitled ‘Inspiration from the Farm’ in Summer Term 2011.

Class 4 have been learning about The Gambia and our link school there - Baraba Lower Basic.
Class 3 have been learning all about the Aztecs. Some of their activities have included building model temples, researching Gods and Goddesses as well learning the history of the Aztecs. They even performed and Aztec version of Cinderella in their class assembly.
Class 1 have been looking at life cycles. They waited for 21 days for the eggs to hatch and were very excited when the chicks finally arrived. Better late than never!
As part of their ‘Under the Sea' topic in Autumn 2010, Class 2 read Commotion in the Ocean and wrote their own sea stories.
Class Four have been studying the Victorians in Autumn 2010. They produced some art based on the work of William Morris.
Global warming is Class 3s topic at present and we have learnt all about the causes of global warming and what we need to do to stop it.
Class 2s topic is India. We have learnt about where India is in the world, its culture, religions and languages. We have also learnt some Indian dances.
Class 1 have been learning about Spain – about Spanish dress, food and the weather. We are even going to have a Spanish Day!
Class 3 having been learning about techniques of perspective to create optical illusion. Here are some of our drawings showing this.
In Class 2 we have been learning about when and where dinosaurs lived and what the world was like during this time.
Class 2's topic on where we live – Callow End. We had to draw a map of the village where we live.

Class 1 had a real life Policeman come to visit. They sat in his car and even pretended to call the Police Station!
